"The reason", you say? Well, here's the story...
Bill had sent out a bulletin message to his friends on myspace.
It contained this:

1) SUCTION ABORTION: USED BEFORE 10 WEEKS
A tube is inserted into the uterus and connected to a strong suction machine. The vacuum is so powerful the baby is ripped to pieces and sucked into a jar -- arms, legs, torso, and head. Done at abortion clinics.
2) D & C ABORTIONS:
The D&C abortion is done before 12 weeks. A hook shaped knife is inserted into the uterus and cuts the baby into small pieces. His head is crushed with the forceps to allow removal through the narrow passage. The womb is then scraped out completely. Bleeding is sometimes profuse. Done at abortion clinics.
3) PROSTAGLANDIN ABORTIONS:
This hormone drug, injected into the amniotic sac, produces labor and premature birth. The baby in most cases is born alive with a heart beat and is then put aside to die.
4) SALINE ABORTION:
A strong poison solution of salt is injected, through the belly, into the amniotic sac. The helpless baby is forced to swallow this deadly poison. He suffers severely, he kicks and jerks violently, he is being burned alive, his skin peels off. Twenty-four to 48 hours later the mother delivers a dead baby.
5) HYSTEROTOMY ABORTIONS:
As in a Cesarean Section, the abdomen is cut open and the baby lifted out while he moves, squirms, fights to breathe, and sometimes cries. While his heart is beating he is left to die.
Whether you admit it or not abortion is wrong. There is no such thing as pro choice. The baby doesn't get a choice. You are taking a human life.

What if the person wanting an abortion is a teenager, who's trying to pass school, and hasn't got enough money nor time to take care of a baby?
Oh, even better, WHAT IF THE MOTHER IS HOMELESS?
WHAT PERSON (yes, PERSON) wants to GROW UP knowing that he/she was NOT wanted? What PERSON wants to grow up ignored, abandoned and unwanted? What PERSON wants to grow up, not getting the attention they want and need?
PRO-CHOICE MY FUCKING ASS. Urgh. What a load of bullshit that message was. Way to fuel the fire. :l"
IF YOU ASK ME, AND MOST WOMEN (BECAUSE, IN VARIOUS POLLS AND STUDIES, MOST PEOPLE WHO ARE AGAINST ABORTION ARE MEN. YES, MEN. MEN WHO DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT GETTING PREGNANT, GIVING BIRTH, BEING A TEENAGE MOTHER, BEING A HOMELESS MOTHER ETC.) ABORTION IS RIGHT.
ANY MOTHER NOT WANTING CHILDREN SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO CHOOSE NOT HAVING THEM.

Feel free to argue with me about this, but I'm certainly not changing my point of view. I'm going to fight for what I believe in. I know people who have had unloving parents. I know people who have said "I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN".
I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD PARENTS TELLING THEM THEY WISH THEY'D OF GOTTEN AN ABORTION.
I mean, SURE, I wouldn't want them to have had an abortion because that person has a GREAT personality, but can you imagine how hard it is, growing up, knowing that your parents never wanted you?
Do you know how much shit she has gotten all her life by her parents?
Do you know how many times she has tried to take her own life?
NO.
You don't know how she feels AT ALL (unless your parents were shitty to you as well that means).
And, if you ask me, I don't reckon anyone should have to be exposed to a childhood as bad as that, OR WORSE than that.
Another one of my friends, she tried committing suicide but ended up in a hospital.
Do you know what her mother told her?
"I'm not coming to visit you, I don't want germs." (or something similiar to that, either way, she wouldn't visit her own daughter who had tried to commit suicide because she was afraid of germs).
...Can you imagine... how bad she must've felt?
Almost succeeding to commit suicide because you feel unloved, to get that thrown at you, by somebody whose attention and love you've been seeking for years and years with no success?
Can you?
I'm sure you've heard this one too many times, BUT, there really are worse things than death. You can't deny that. Nobody can.

Have you ever read about someone who couldn't get abortion and had to give birth to the baby?
Ever read of the background of all different sorts of murderers, drug addicts, alcoholics, suicide victims?

Actually, I have friends who have been forced to grow up under horrible circumstances because their parents didn't or couldn't or were too selfish to get an abortion.
NOT... that I wished they'd of never gotten born, since they are great friends of mine... but at the same time, I wish they'd of never had to suffer (and still suffer) from the pain their childhood has caused them?
They are in such pain. It's amazing talking to them, because usually I can have such empathy for people, yet I still hardly can imagine the pain they must have and still are going through. I just can't. It's overwhelming.
It's not always "for her own reasons", if I was to get an abortion, it wouldn't be all "for my own reasons". I'd think of my baby. And I'd know that I couldn't give it all that I'd want to. I know that I wouldn't have enough time to give it all the love and attention that it needs seeing as I'm still so young and seeing as I want to concentrate on my studies, and actually get a well paying job before even CONSIDERING having a baby.
When I'd have to go to school (and yes, I HAVE to go to school, it's law here that one has to go to school for 9 years and I still have my last year to go), where'd the baby go? My mum has to work so I can eat and have a roof over my head.
My grandmother is 83 and lives in Finland.
Other people who live close to me wouldn't have time to take care of my baby (except perhaps my aunt, but why would I want my baby to stay at my aunts all the time because I can't take care of it myself? How confusing can't that be?)
AND NO, I would NEVER put my child up for adoption with the risk that it might never be adopted, or even worse, might end up in an abusive and/or generally bad family.
The only "option" I'd consider, assuming that I never took a day after pill by some reason, and assuming that my baby will be born healthy (seeing as I don't smoke, don't drink alcohol and don't do drugs) is to make sure I have a family who are willing to adopt my baby once it is born.
I could not take care of a child, and a whole lot of other women couldn't, and most importantly CAN'T take care of their now outside-of-the-womb children.
I wouldn't want my child to grow up to become a murderer because I never "cared for it", never gave it the attention it wanted and kept switching it between homes and different family members.
What if the condom breaks? I've managed to stop biting my nails and have nails now. Are you against the day after pill as well? Isn't that just as much of a murder?
Is wanking a murder? Seeing as the sperm is POTENTIAL life as long as it gets contact with a woman's vagina, and if you wank it away, the sperm will (obviously) never get in the contact of the inner of a woman's vagina, seeing as you'd probably be wanking it straight down into a toilet? Isn't that murder then? Because you just flushed sperm down the toilet, which could have become life one day?
Is it?
I understand if you're against the whole "casual" abortion and how women avoid using birth control by purpose and don't take a day after pill after that and just "casually" abort the embryo. I find that pretty damned gross as well.
But still, I don't think those people would be good mothers.
And how can a child become "the next Einstein", seeing as usually when you have a personal problem, it affects your schooling as well?
How many times haven't you heard of kids whose grades have dropped because they have become depressed?
And how would you feel if you'd be put up for adoption, and ended up growing up without never being adopted OR ended up being adopted by a family who ends up being abusive to you?
How would you feel if you'd end up continuously switching from one bad home to another because people who decide to adopt you keep abusing you?
Because THAT HAPPENS.

There are TOO many children up for adoption who end up never getting adopted. TOO MANY children being adopted just to be someone's punch bag.

If one thinks it is wrong to get an abortion, then don't ever get one.
Just don't remove the possibility from other people. Don't risk chidlren growing up with parents that never loved them. That's just mean.

I would rather be unborn than live knowing I was an unwanted burden to my parents. People argue that there is a chance of being happy and that the parents should be punished for their mistake, but there has to be a solution. And I wouldn't want to be happy if I brought misery upon them anyways.

I wonder what the person arguing pro-life would think of a rape victim having an abortion. Since they weren't able to control whether they had sex or not. I read a story recently about a woman who was reminded of her rape every time she looked at her baby, and ended up killing it herself. If she'd lived in a country where abortion was legal, things would have been a lot simpler.
But yeah, in terms of non-rape-victims, no unwanted baby should be born simply because it's "murder" otherwise. The baby would feel even less than an animal would being killed, as far as i'm aware. Yet i bet he eats meat, or if not, drinks milk. Does he know that in order to get lots of milk, they kill the cow's calf after it's born so the cow keeps producing milk? Eee, i don't like people who preach against one thing then do it in another way.
Sorry, that was long, but i feel strongly about this sort of thing.

That thing about the woman killing the baby is horrible. It's such a good argument. It's such a true fact about what not being able to get an abortion can do. Plus, she probably was prosecuted and shit for "murder" as well, which is even more unfair, if you ask me. :l
Yehh, and nobody wants to grow up in a home where you're unwanted and unloved. :l It's just plain mean to expose people to a childhood like that, "murder" or not.
I'm sure, if Bill'd have a girlfriend that he loves more than anything and if someone would brutally rape and wound here, he would want to murder the culprit. The fucking hypocrite.
